Spring 2026
Spring 2026 has seen us make great progress on site.
In the last 3 months we have completed second fix to all houses, and just over 15 houses are left to decorate and complete by mid-August. The photos in the slideshow above show a selection of work recently undertaken, including internal fit out and decorating.
Recent dry conditions have seen us increase road sweeping and dust suppression on site, with the following implemented from mid-May:
- Daily road sweeping (Sword Street, Into the Bellway Compound, picking up Beachead Grove, Gold Chase,) for a duration of approx. 2 hours whilst works are still external and have the potential for dust creation
- Reiterating to all suppliers and subcontractors that all deliveries must be covered
- Dampening down and covering of loose materials inside Beachead Grove and Gold Chase and covering stockpile materials within the Bellway compound area to reduce the opportunity for them to become airborne
- Use of bowsers to dampen down roads during dry and windy weather at 10am,12pm, and 3pm Monday to Friday while construction works are ongoing
- Appointment of a dedicated site team member whose responsibility it is to manage any additional dampening down that is required during dry and windy weather
We have also been working closely with Enerveo to resolve issues with the lighting on the southern footpath - please see our "Programme of work" page for a positive update on when this will go live.
