Elizabeth Square Bellway Noticeboard

Programme of work

Summer 2026 - general update

This Summer will see us focus on completing and decorating the final homes, ahead of moving on to the apartment block later in the year.

Alongside this focus on the houses, we will also finally be able to send the permanent lighting on the southern footpath on Barrington Road live. After some issues with high voltage cabling, Enerveo have confirmed that these lights should be operational by the end of August, meaning that there will no longer be a need for solar lighting in this location. We thank you all for your patience whilst the issues with this lighting was being resolved.

The installation of the emergency bollards at the western end of Barrington Road will also be completed in September, enabling us to remove the temporary barrier and concrete block that has been in place since construction access moved to the main site entrance.

September 2026 - resident specific update

Landscaping and watering

The extreme heat and lack of rainfall has led to some challenges across the country this summer. You may have seen us around Elizabeth Square watering the trees and plants using water bowsers. However, despite these efforts the extreme heat has unfortunately resulted in the loss of some plants and trees. We would like to reassure you that these will be replaced during the appropriate planting season.

Street lighting on southern footpath

Street lighting works to the south have now been completed. We thank you for your patience as these works were undertaken.

Apartments

Works to the apartments are currently undergoing a full design review. We will provide further information, including a confirmed start date, once the review has been completed. These works are anticipated to commence in the autumn/winter period.

Kerb repairs and road surfacing

Over the next few weeks, we will also be carrying out repairs to a number of damaged kerbs, together with road surfacing works in several areas across the development. Every effort will be made to minimise the disruption from these works and we thank you for your cooperation and understanding as these works are undertaken.
